New Zealand’s Own Stone
Timaru bluestone is a volcanic basalt quarried in South Canterbury and crafted by skilled stonemasons into some of New Zealand’s most distinctive residential, commercial and civic projects. Its deep blue-grey tones, natural durability and non-slip surface make it equally at home in a private pool surround as it does running 125 metres along the check-in wall at Christchurch International Airport.
No two pieces are identical. That’s the point.
What We Make
Our craftsmen fabricate bluestone into paving, tiles, house veneers, pool coping, kerb and channel, outdoor furniture, memorials, bollards and landscape details. If you have something specific in mind, get in touch. The applications are broader than most people expect.
Locally Quarried. Built to Last.
While most basalt sold in New Zealand comes from Asia, ours comes from our own quarry. Every piece is selected for quality, fabricated here, and built to last for generations. Architects, engineers and homeowners keep specifying it for one simple reason: it performs.
